Abstract (2. Language):
This article evaluates sociologist Mübeccel Kıray's contribution to the field of communication. Communication relevants with sociology, policy, history, economy and philosophy and supports this fields. So it is important that the studies done in these fields. Mübeccel Kıray has made an impression especially on monograph studies done in the history of Turkish sociology. Kiray has done lots of researches relationship between social change and culture. For this purpose from her findings her things of relevant communication are extracted. In briefly, Kiray said that it has needed communication means as a result of modernization. Kiray said in his studies when television didn't spread and concludes newspaper and radio have many effects on these social changes.
