HUMERUS'TA FORAMEN SUPRATROCHLEARIS (Anatomik Çalışma)

Abstract (2. Language):
The supratrochlear foramen in the humerus (anatomîcal study). Supratrochlear foramen (septal aperture), one of the variations of humerus, is formed by perforation of the thin bone septum between olecranon fossa and coronoid fossa which are found proximal to the trochlea of humerus. In various studies, it has been recorded that the cause of this variation results from elbow hyperextentİon and the frequency was between 0% and 60%. İn our study which made on 114 humerus this ratio was found as 7.9%, and the shape of these holes was found as oval. In the measurements taken, the average diameter of the long (transvers) axes was found as 6.70+1.91 while the short (verticai) was 4.56+1.37 millimeter
