Abstract (2. Language):
Pulmonary air leaks are a common problem encountered in newborns administered ventilation support for respiratory distress. Pulmonary interstitial
emphysema is defined as the passage of air into the perivascular interstitial
tissue and interstitial septa of the lung because of the rupture of alveols.
A case of pulmonary interstitial emphysema developing due to severe
contralateral lung atelectasis after the cessation of ventilation support administered for mild respiratory distress syndrome is herein presented and
discussed.

Abstract (Original Language):
Pulmoner hava kaçakları, solunum sıkıntısı nedeniyle ventilasyon desteği
uygulanan yenidoğan bebeklerde oldukça sık karşılaşılan bir sorundur. Pulmoner interstisiyel amfizem alveollerin yır tılması sonucu havanın akciğerlerin perivasküler interstisiyel dokusuna ve interlober septa içine geçmesi
olarak tanımlanır. Burada hafif respiratuvar distres sendromu nedeniyle ventilasyon tedavisi alan, ancak ventilasyon desteği kesildikten sonra karşı taraf
akciğerdeki yaygın atelektaziye bağlı ortaya çıkan bir pulmoner interstisiyel
amfizem olgusu sunulmuş ve tartışılmıştır.
