Mitral valve rupture is a serious compiication of infective endocarditis. The prevalence ranges from 1 to 11%. In this report we describe a 19-year odd boy presenting with subacute endocarditis, compiicated with mitral valve rupture. He was successfully treated with a mitral valve replacement

Mitral kapak rüüptürü infektif endokardttin ciddi bir kompikkasyonudur. Yaygınlığı % 1 le 11 arasındadır. Bu makalede, mitral kapak rüüptürü kompiikasyonu geiişmiş subakut endokardit kiiniği ile başvuran 19 yaşında erkek olguyu sunuyoruz. Hasta başarılı bir şekllde mitral kapak replasmanıyla tedavi edlldi.
