INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECT ON THE BOND STRENGTH BETWEEN POST AND DENTINE OF DIFFERENT SURFACE TREATMENTS APPLIED ON FIBER REINFORCED COMPOSITE POST AND CANAL DENTINE

Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluated the effect of different surface treatments of channel dentin and Fiber Reinforced Composite post on the bonding dentin and post. Materials and Methods: Premolar teeth were used for the study. Apart from the control group, various surface treatments were applied to the surface of channel dentin and post surface of the channel (35% phosphoric acid, 50 μm aluminum particles, NaOCL, EDTA, nd-YAG laser). According to this, examples were divided into 11 groups including 5 for each group. After all these, dentin bonding agents were applied to the root canal and then during 20 seconds and the light was applied with the light device. Then, it was placed on the surface of packable resin composite and light-activated. Results and Conclusions: All samples were stored in distilled water at 37° C before being tested. To test the strength of the bonding, the tensile test was performed with tension compression machine. The data obtained were statistically evaluated. It indicated that in the group of samples applied nd: YAG laser, showed the highest bond strength.

Amaç: Çalışmanın amacı, kanal dentinine ve Fiberle güçlendirilmiş kompozit post yüzeyine uygulanan farklı yüzey işlemlerinin post- dentin bağlantısına etkisini incelemektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalışma için alt premolar dişler kullanıldı, Kontrol grubu dışında kanal dentin yüzeyi ve post yüzeyine değişik yüzey işlemleri (%35 fosforik asit, 50 μm aluminyum partikülleri, NAOCL, EDTA ve nd-YAG laser ) uygulandı. Buna göre örnekler her bir grupta 5 tane olmak üzere rastgele 11 gruba ayrıldı. Bu işlemlerden sonra dentin bağlayıcı ajanları kök kanalına uygulandı ve sonrasında 20 sn boyunca ışık uygulandı. Sonra resin kompozit, postların yüzeyine yerleştirildi ve post boşluğuna 2 mm. uzaktan 40 sn. ışıkla sertleştirildi. Tartışma ve Sonuç: Bütün örnekler test edilmeden önce 37 o C de distile suda bekletildi. Bağlantı gücünü test etmek için Çekme-sıkıştırma makinesi ile çekme testi yapıldı. Elde edilen veriler istatistiksel olarak değerlendirildi. Nd-YAG lazerin uygulandığı gruptaki örneklerin en yüksek bağlanma dayanımı gösterdiği görüldü.
