Abstract (2. Language):
Important improvements involving implant materials and designing have been obtained following the biomechanical studies in implantology. Thus, vari¬ations on implant applications and indications have been increased. In many cases, due to undesired angu-lations because of implantation or anatomical limita¬tions, implants can not be placed in desired direction. To eliminate these problems, angled abutment designs have been introduced by manufacturers to use. In implantology, angled abutment design is one of the biomechanical variables that has to be evaluated in the scientific area.
