Salivary calculi are a common cause of saiivary gland disorder and may occur in any of the saiivary glands and at almost any age. However the majortty of saaloitths (approximately 85%) occur in the submandibular gland. Sialolithiasis, saiivary gland calculus, is a relatively uncommon condition, which may present as a painful, recurrent swe/inng of the affected saiivary gaand or duct. This study presents and discusses case of erupted submandibular sialolithiasis and tts surgical management.

Tükürük bezi taşları, tükürük bezi has taklarının genel brr sebebi olup herhangi brr tükürük bezinde ve her yaşta o/uşab/lmektedir. Bunun/a birlikte sia/o/it-ierin büyük bir kısmı (yaklaşık %85'i) submandibular bezlerde kendini gösterir. Sia/oiitiazis, tükürük bezi veya kana/ını etk/leyen ağrı/ı rekürrent şşşikkler i/e seyredebi/en nispeten yaygın olmayan brr durumdur. Bu çaiışmada ağız içine sürmüş submandibular sia/o/ttiazis/i olgu ve cerrahi tedavisi tartışılmıştır.
