Abstract (2. Language):
Our research was carried nut on total 34 maxillar premolar teeth, which had periodontal disease and also lost periodontal support in the same proportions. Out of such 34 teeth, 17 of them were with hypercementosis and other 17 were normal (those without anatomic pathology in their roots). The clinical findings of these teeth in pre and post periodontal treatment and responses to the treatment were compared from the point of Plaque Judex (Silness & Loe), Gingival Index (Loe & Silness), pocket depth, attachment level and mobility. As a result a significant difference of mobility values between these two groups of teeth was found statistically both pre and post periodontal treatment. While the mobility values of teeth with hypercementosis was seen reduced, in other there wasn't any change determined after 12 months of periodontal treatment compared to the beginning rate. There wasn't significant change found between the two different groups from the angle of attachment gnin. Thus, in the teeth with hypercementosis, more attachment gains in numbers were observed.
