ÖNİŞLEM GÖRMÜŞ TÜRK KÖMÜRLERİNİN MİKRODALGA ENERJİ ETKİSİ İLE SIVILAŞTIRILMASI

LIQUEFACTION OF PRETREATED TURKISH COALS WITH MICROWAVE ENERGY

Abstract (2. Language):
Liquefaction of the original and pretreated Beypazarı and Tunçbilek lignites along with Zonguldak bituminous coal in the presence of tetralin as a H-donor solvent by using microwave energy was studied. In order to remove earth alkaline metals from coal structure such as Ca++, Mg++, three Turkish coals having different rank were pretreated with 1N HCl. After pretreating coals, it was observed that the mineral matter contents of those coals were considerably reduced. Oils have the highest percentage among the liquid products obtained from original and pretreated coals. Liquid product yields of original coals seem to be higher except for pretreated Tunçbilek lignites.
