Abstract (2. Language):
Puberty is the stage of development during which secondary sexu¬al characteristics appear. The terms of the adolescence is used for several types of maturation, including psychosocial and biologic. The neuro-endocrin and genetics factors controlling the onset of puberty remain unknown. The first sign of puberty is breast devel¬opment in most girls and an increase in the size of the testicles in most boys, while the most visible changes during puberty are growth of the stature. The physical changes including major differ¬ences of size, shape, composition, and function develop in many body structures and systems often take three or four years to com¬plete. There may be some timing problems of the pubertal devel¬opment such as precocious puberty and delayed puberty. Additionally, some events of the pubertal maturation as anemia, gynecomastia, acne, scoliosis etc. may be assumed as abnormal by the patient and family. This article, mention normal and abnormal pubertal development and pubertal problems.
