Abstract (2. Language):
Some human skeletons were found by chance during digging of a new waterway in Erzurum. After investigation oj those skeletons it was found out that they belonged to New Age Era. On the skeletons there were some traces of burn, proving that their deaths were not normal. Due to the fact that the bones and skulls belonging to the same skelton could not be found together and ordered, the measurements and the investigation was carried out only on skulls (some 62). Through this investigation and measurements the characteristic skull and face pattern of people that lived in this era was decided. The results of the measurments were compared biometrically and morphologically with results of İznik population from the Late Byzantine Era in order to find out the genetical similarity of those two population. It was found that there was no significant morphological difference between those two population.
