Abstract (2. Language):
In the Common European Framework of Reference ,it is drawn attention to the importance of the texts in
foreign language teaching and activities during teaching and it is expected to be confronted with many texts,
especially with different kinds of texts; on purpose of language students’ getting communucative language
competence (comprehension, producing, interaction or intermediation). One of the lesson materials that the
language students are confronted with is course book. In this context, analyzing the genres and originality of
the texts in the course books of Istanbul Turkish Language Teaching Pack and determining the suitability of text
criters in The Common European Framework of Reference that is stated above are aimed.

Avrupa Ortak Dil Çerçevesi’nde, yabancı dil öğretiminde metinlerin önemine ve öğretim sırasındaki etkililiğine
dikkat çekilmekte ve dil öğrencilerinin iletişimsel dil becerisi (alımlama, üretme, etkileşim ya da aracılık)
kazanabilmesi amacıyla çokça metinle ve özellikle farklı türlerdeki metinlerle karşılaşması beklenmektedir. Dil
öğrencisinin metinlerle çokça karşılaştığı ders araçlarından birisi de ders kitabıdır. Bu bağlamda araştırmada
İstanbul Yabancılara Türkçe Öğretim Seti’nin ders kitaplarında yer alan okuma metinlerinin tür özellikleri ve
özgünlük durumları bakımından incelenmesi ve yukarıda belirtilen Avrupa Ortak Dil Çerçevesi’ndeki metinsel
ölçütlere uygunluğunu saptamak amaçlanmıştır.
