Abstract (2. Language):
In this study, effect of the marble cutting parameters on energy consumption was estimated by using Artificial Neural Network and ANFIS. In both of these estimation methods, marble's hardness, speed of circular saw rotation and cutting speed parameters were used as inputs, specific energy factor, cutting energy in per unit volume was taken as output. The data for training networks were taken from a PC based block cutter machine (S/T) with circular diamond saw blade at Afyon Kocatepe University Labs. These data are cutting parameters of "Denizli Travertine" and "Bilecik Beige" type marbles. Some of these data were used for training and then all data were used for testing stage of the networks. To show the effectiveness of the study, estimated data were compared with experimental data. As conclusion, it was reported that estimated data were quite close to experimental result.

Bu gali§mada, mermer kesme parametrelerinin enerji tuketimine etkisi, Yapay Sinir Aglari ve ANFIS kullanilarak tahmin edilmi§tir. Tahmin metotlarinda giri§ olarak mermerin sertligi, testere donu§ hizi ve kesme hizi parametreleri kullanilmi§ ve birim hacim ba§ina harcanan kesme enerjisinin bir ifadesi olan spesifik enerji faktoru giki§ olarak alinmi§tir. Aglarin egitimi igin kullanilan veriler, Afyon Kocatepe Universitesi laboratuarlarinda bulunan, mermer kesilebilirlik analizleri igin geli§tirilmi§, bilgisayar tabanli, dairesel testereli blok kesme (S/T) makinesinde yapilan bir deneysel gali§madan alinmi§tir. Bu veriler Denizli Traverteni ve Bilecik Bej tipi mermerlere ait kesim parametreleridir. Bu verilerin bir kismi egitimde kullanilmi§ ve tum veriler daha sonra egitilen aglarda test edilmi§tir. Tahmin edilen sonuglar elde edilmi§ deney sonuglariyla kar§ila§tirilmi§tir. Sonug olarak tahmin edilen verilerin deneysel verilere oldukga yakin oldugu g6rulmu§tur.
