Techniques of the temporomandibular joint arthrocentesis: Literature review

Journal Name:

Publication Year:

Keywords (Original Language):

Abstract (2. Language):
Arthrocenthesis, which is used to treat temporomandibular joint disorders, is a low cost, minimal invasive procedure. In order to make this minimal invasive procedure less invasive, several methods and techniques are described in the literature in recent years. In the present article, our aim is to give answers to the following questions: “What are the advantages and disadvantages of these methods?”; ‘‘What can be done to clarify the advantages and disadvantages?’’
