Left ventricular diverticulum

Abstract (2. Language):
Aim: To present a congenital left ventricular diverticulum case, a rare congenital abnormality and to review related literature. Case report: A 74-year-old male patient, admitted to our clinic with subacute myocardial infarction and detected the diverticulum in the inferior wall during left ventriculography. Conclusion: In our case, no treatment for the diverticulum was administered because of the presence of no symptom which may be related to the diverticulum, small size of the diverticulum, and contraction as good as disappearing completely during ventricular systole.
