The fırst CABG surgery cases were performed on the beating heart, because extracorporeal circulation and cross damping the aorta provided optimal surgical comfort. thıs approach has gained wide acceptance worldwide. Hoıvever, ın high risk patients, thıs technique carries inherent risks that may results in limiting indicatıons for surgery This study reports our ınitial clinical experience on off-pump coronary bypass surgery especially in patients with porce-lain aorta or poor ventricular function.

İlk koroner bypass operasyonları çalışan kalpte gerçekleştirilmesine rağmen, ekstrakorporeal dolaşım aortık kros klemp yönteminin optimal bir cerrahi konfor sağlaması nedeniyle günümüzde koroner bypass ameliyatları ekstrakorporeal dolaşım ve aortik kros klemp yöntemiyle uygulanmakta, ancak ameliyat için yüksek risk taşıyan hastalarda işlemi kolay¬laştıran bu yöntemler, önemli komplikasyonlara neden olarak operasyon sınırlarını daraltabilmektedir Bu çalışma kardiyopulmoner bypass kullanılmadan yapılan koroner arter cerrahisindeki başlangıç tecrüberimizi bildirmektedir.
