EBÛ SAÎD MUHAMMED HÂDİMÎ VE NAKŞBENDÎLİK RİSÂLESİ’NİN TAHLİLİ

In this article, I will analyse an Arabic treatise by Abu Said Muhammed el-Khadimi (d. 1762-63) concerning the famous sufi order of Naqshbandiyya. This small treatise comprises of the followings sections: The principles of Naqshbandi order, correct belief in God, true repentance, allegience to the sunna of the prophet, practicing religious rules in fullness, abstaining from commiting illicit acts, purifying the soul from evils, avoiding from vices and having good morals. Through explaing these themes, I will try to lay down the views of el-Khadimi on sufism in general end Naqshbandi order in particular.
