Transportation sector is very important sector in terms of the functions undertaken in transportation of both passenger and load. That development of the sector is an harmony with economic and social development of a country is also very important. In this context, one of the most convenient means used to prevent excessive population density in cities is that transportations system must development. In this study, the demand for intercity passenger transport of Atatürk University student analyzed. The data were analyzed in terms of vehicle preference, objectives and number of travel and city to go and a logit model was estimated.

Ulaştırma sektörü, üstlendiği fonksiyonlar bakımından yaşamsal öneme sahiptir. Bu yüzden ulaştırma sektörünün gelişmesi, sürdürülebilir ve dengeli bir kalkınma hedefinin gerçekleştirilmesi açısından da önemlidir. Bu çalışmada Atatürk Üniversitesi öğrencilerinin şehirlerarası ulaşım talebi analiz edilmektedir. Çalışmada gerekli olan verilerin elde edilmesinde anket uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler araç tercihi, seyahatin amacı, yeri ve sayısı ile seyahat etmede etkili olan diğer faktörler bakımından analiz edilmiş ve logit model kullanılarak tahminler yapılmıştır.
