ñ In this study, it has been aimed at dyeing
polyester fibres in solvent medium using disperse
dyes. Ethylene glycol has been used as solvent. In this
study disperse dyes, such as CI Disperse Blue 56 and
CI Disperse Red 167 were used. The dyes were
purified by crystallizing in acetone. Dyeing process
was examined in dye-bath (1/1000 flotte) using such
parameters as temperature and duration. Under the
conditions studied, optimum temperature and
duration for dyeing in ethylene glycol medium were
determined to be 60 0 C and 30 minutes, respectively.

Bu Áalışmada Áˆz¸c¸l¸ ortamda polietilen
tereftalat (PET) elyafın dispers boyarmaddelerle
boyanması amaÁlanmıştır. «ˆz¸c¸ olarak etilen
glikol seÁilmiştir. Dispers boyarmadde olarak
Setapers Blue FBL (CI Disperse Blue 56) ve Setapers
Red S-2GFL (CI Disperse Red 167) kullanıldı.
Boyarmaddeler asetonda kristallendirilip
saflaştırılmıştır. Boyama Áalışmaları 1/1000 flotte
oranında sıcaklığa ve süreye bağlı olarak
incelenmiştir. Sıcaklığa bağlı olarak yapılan
Áalışmada optimum boyama sıcaklığı 60

tespit edilmiştir Etilen glikoll¸ ortamda CI Disperse
Blue 56 ve CI Disperse Red 167 boyarmaddeleri
kullanılarak hazırlanan boyama banyolarında
optimum boyama s¸resi 30 dk. olarak saptandı.
