Abstract (2. Language):
Prostate cancer is routinely diagnosed by prostate needle biopsy and recently an increasing number of patients are diagnosed prostate cancer. PSA levels, examination findings, prostate size, patient age, concomitant diseases, previous biopsy history and familial cancer burden, should be consid-ered in biopsy indication. Indication for prostate biopsy must be determined carefully in patients with comorbidities (dia-betes mellitus etc.) and more detailed information should be given to these patients in terms of the possible complica-tions. In this paper, we aimed to provide a sepsis-induced acute renal failure case in a diabetic patient after prostate biopsy procedure done.
