Majority of all reasons of apply hospital for children is the joint pain. Pain is a objective sign and it is important to distinguish whether this reason of sign is organic or not. After decided to organic caused pain with clinical signs. The causes related to traumatic, orthopedic, hematological, endocrine and metabolic, rheumatologic diseases, and infectious causese and nutrition should be reviewed. Diseases that cause joint pain in children presents a wide range. For fast and accurate diagnosis, careful history ta-king to physical examination, the physician query systems provide many clues. In this article diagnostic approach reviewed on children patients with joint pain, the sensitivity of this issue emphasized again.

Çocukların polikliniklere başvuru nedenlerinin önemli bir kısmını eklem ağrıları oluşturmaktadır. Ağrı öznel bir bul-gudur ve nedeninin organik olup olmadığını ayırt etmek önemlidir. Klinik bulgularla organik nedenli olduğu düşü-nüldükten sonra ağrıya yol açabilecek altta yatan travma-tik, ortopedik, hemotolojik, endokrin ve metabolik neden-ler, romatolojik hastalıklar ve enfeksiyöz nedenler, bes-lenme ile ilgili nedenler gözden geçirilmelidir. Çocuklarda eklem ağrısına neden olan hastalıklar çok geniş bir dağılım sergilemektedir. Hızlı ve doğru tanı için dikkatli bir öykü almak ve fizik muayene yapmak, hekime birçok ipucu sağlamaktadır. Bu yazıda eklem ağrısıyla gelen çocu-ğa tanısal yaklaşım gözden geçirilmiş, bu konudaki hassa-siyet tekrar vurgulanmıştır.
