THE NEW METHODS IN THE CONTRASTIVE LINGUISTIC

Contrastive Linguistics can be examined from different points of view. The first one of these is the one taught while learning a foreign language in school. This allows us to see the errors made in explaining the subjects in practice or creating new subjects .In addition, because of the fact that course materials, books, and a particular program are concerned, topics are dealt with on a surface structure. Even if the surface structure exceeds the limits of contrastive linguistics, there is no purpose other than to explore the universal rules of the language. Another aim of the contrastive linguistics is to reach the linguistic goal with the aid of the method that is applied. Linguistics theorists have been working on developing new systems that can reveal the universal rules of linguistics by making a detailed study of the features of the universal nature of language, and producing language learning methods and theories. On the other hand the fact that more detailed studies have been carried out in linguistics studies does not mean that programs will then be executed automatically better.

Karşılaştırmalı Dilbilim farklı açılardan ele alınabilir. Bunlardan ilki, okulda yabancı dil öğrenme esnasında öğretilen kısımdır. Bu da bize uygulamada konuları anlatırken veya konuları oluştururken yapılan hataları görmemizi sağlar. Ayrıca, ders materyalleri, kitaplar ve belirli bir program söz konusu olduğu için, daha çok yüzeysel yapıda konu ele alınmaktadır. Yüzeysel yapı karşılaştırmalı dilbilimin sınırlarını aşsa dahi, söz konusu olan, dilin evrensel kurallarını keşfetmekten başka bir amacı yoktur. Karşılaştırmalı dilbilimin bir başka amacı da uygulanan metot yardımıyla dilsel hedefe ulaşmaktır. Dilbilim kuramcıları dilin doğası gereği evrensel özelliklerini ayrıntılı bir şekilde inceleyerek ve dil eğitimiyle ilgili yöntem ve kuramlar geliştirerek evrensel dilbilim kurallarını ortaya çıkarabilecek yeni sistemler üzerinde çalışmaktadır. Diğer yandan ise dilbilimde daha derin çalışmaların yapılmış olması, otomatik olarak daha iyi programların yürütüleceği anlamına gelmemelidir.
