Abstract (2. Language):
In the production process, economies tend to use factors of production heavily which they
have more. However, economies need intensive energy output to operate and continue the
production. Energy requirements increase with the growth of economy, whether they have
energy sources or not. Furthermore supplying the energy needs is not only about accessing
energy sources. In our study, relationship between economic growth and energy as a factor of
production argued on the contex of countries which are intensive owner and intensive user of
those sources.

Ekonomiler hangi üretim faktörüne daha fazla sahipseler üretim sürecinde o faktörü daha
fazla kullanma eğilimindedirler. Bununla birlikte ekonomiler üretimde bulunmak ve üretimi
devam ettirebilmek için yoğun enerji girdisine gereksinim duyarlar. Enerji kaynaklarına sahip
olsunlar ya da olmasınlar enerji gereksinimi ekonomi büyüdükçe artar. Ayrıca enerji
gereksinimini gidermek yalnızca enerji kaynaklarına ulaşmakla da gerçekleştirilememektedir.
Çalışmamızda bir üretim girdisi olarak enerjinin ekonomik büyüme ile olan ilişkisi, enerji
kaynaklarına yoğun olarak sahip olan ve bu kaynakları yoğun olarak kullanan ülkeler
bağlamında tartışılmıştır.
