Abstract (2. Language):
The nitrate contents of forages can increase enought to kill livestocks in some circumstance. High nitrat content of forage important interm of the crops used as forage as well. The most important factors increasing the nitrat content of plants are the excees nitrogen in soil and negative climatic conditions. Nitrate accumulation in plant tissue varied with species to a large extent. Drying process do not decrease the nitrat content of fresh plant materials. But, it is possible to decrease the nitrat contents of forage in 50% percentage with sillage process. The forages with high nitrat contents has acute and chronic effect on livestock health. Therefore, maximum attention should be paid while the forage up to 1000 ppm nitrat contents are used.
