Abstract (2. Language):
Introduction; The developing procedures and conditions as well as the film structure arc effective on the radiographic image quality. Here our purpose was to evaluate the effects of different automatic developing solutions on three different speed films. Material and Method; For this purpose we used Kodak Ultraspeed D, Ektaspeed and Ektaspeed Plus films and exposed these films using a phantom mandibula.. The films were then developed and fixed in Hacettepe (made in Turkey) and Kodak automatic solutions. Hence densitomelric analysis was done from the various areas with different densities. Results: The base+lor density values were within optima) values for the films developed in Kodak solution. The contrast values for all three types of films were found higher for the Kodak solution than the other developing solution. Conclusion: Results showed that in Kodak films the optimal density was achieved by using Kodak developing solution.
