Abstract (2. Language):
This study was carried out with the aim of examining Ihc effect of various mediums the respect tc hardness quality which is one of critcrious in evaluating vencring mitlerini s used in prosthetic restorations Teflon moulds which can be separated in (i mm. diameter and 3 nun. thick pieces were used. By placing Dentacolor samples into the spaces in Ihcsc mould, with photo- polymerization, jstisit and Riodcnt samples were obtained by fhisking the trial dentures with the help of moulds by curing them under heat and pressure, but porcelain samples were obtained by f umacmg porcelain dough afler it was taken on the faience. It was paid more attenlion to the surfaces of samples prepared to be very smooth. In this way, total 60 samples were prapared in the way that 15 samples would be from each material. Samples were divided into three groups equally. Samples in the first group were kept in dry medium, samples in the second group were kept in distilled water and the others in the (hird group were kept in artificial saliva and ten days later, their hardness measurements were taken WLth Vickcrs test equipment. II was determined that types of veneiing material and medium were significant statistically (pxO.001). It was determined thaL the most hardness value was in porcelain and least hardness value was in Biodent.
