Abstract (2. Language):
A successful treatment includes esthetic, physi¬cal and emotional healing. Medically compromised patients may be exposed to some complications during treatment approaches when compared to systemically healthy individuals. These will finally affect diagnosis and treatment planning. Dentists should gather infor¬mation about all the systemic problems together with the dental complaints. It is important to pay attention to individual's systemic problems and psychological aspects during orthodontic treatments. This composition was aimed to explain briefly some common systemic problems, their clinical fea¬tures, oral symptoms and factors to be considered in orthodontic treatments.
