Abstract (2. Language): 
It was aimed to investigate the effects of place where parents live, their educational level and their first meeting with dentist on children in this study. In this study, two groups were constituted; the patient applied Ondokuz May is University facutty of Dentistry Department of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Department of Pediatric Dentistry, and; the parents that have children living in the three village of Samsun. The 500 standardized questionnaires were prepared for two groups. The data was evaluated accordnng to criteria of place where parents live, their educational level and therr first meeting with dentist. It was determined that parents' living in village or ctty, their educational level, therr first meeting with dentist affect children's oral health. Making parents conscious about oral health from their early years provides positive effects on children and thus healthy individuals come into being.

Bu çalışmada ebeveyn/erin yaşadığı yernn, eğitim düzeyinin ve diş hekimine i/k başvuru yaşının çocuğu üzerindeki etkilerinin araştırı/ması amaç/andı. Bu çatışmada Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi Ağız Diş Çene Hastalıkları ve Cerrahisi Anabilim Dalı'na, Pedodonti Anabilim Dalı'na başvuran hastalar ve Samsun iline bağ/ı üç köyde (İncesu Köyü, Karaköy, Gökçekaraoğlan Köyü ) yaşayan çocuk sahibi brreyler olmak üzere iki grup oluşturuldu. Her iki grup için standart olan 500 adet anket formu dolduruldu. Ede edilen veriler brreylernn yaşadığı yere, eğitim seviyesine ve diş hekimine ilk başvuru yaşı kriter alınarak değerlendirildi. Ebeveynlerin şehirde veya köyde yaşamasının, eğitim seviyesinin, diş hekimine ilk başvuru yaşının çocuklarının ağız sağ/ığını etkilediği beiirlendi. Ebeveynlerin çocukluk çağ/arından itibaren ağız sağlığı konusunda bilinçlendirilmesi, ebeveynlerin çocukları üzerinde olumlu etkiler yaratarak sağhkh brreyler yetişmesini sağlamaktadır.
