Purporese: The prosthesis was an adequate area for adhesion of microorganisms, and the first step for adhesion was insufficient denture cleanliness. This study was carrying out detected factors of effected denture cleanliness in patients wear complete denture. Material and Methods: This study was included total 161 patients who appiied to prosthodontic department of GATA Haydarpaşa. The denture cleanliness was scored as follows; Score 1 was clean, Score 2 was dirty and Score 3 was extremely dirty. Results: The results were shown that 34.8% of all patients were wearing extremely dirty complete denture. The Chi-square test results were shown that there was a statistically significant relationship between denture cleanliness score and sexuaitty, educational status, wtth/wtthout education for denture cleanliness, denture age, cleanliness method, and cleanliness frequencies. Cunslusion: In this study, the results were shown that patients wear complete denture have insufficient denture cleanliness and used drrty or extremely dirty denture. To prevent this condition of patients who wearing complete denture should be given more weight to giving information and motivating about denture cleanliness.

Amaç: Mkkroorganizmaaarın yerleşimi açısından protezler ideal brr aaan oluşturmaktadır ve yerleşimin temel basamağı da yetersiz protez hijyenidrr. Bu araştrrma; tam protez hastalarında protez temizi/k düzeylerini etkileyen faktörleri incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Gereç ve Yöntem: GATA Haydarpaşa Eğitim Hastanesi Diş Servisi Protez böüümüne başvuran toplam 161 tam protez hastası bu araştırmanın örnek/emini oluşturmuştur. Hastalara att protez temizlik düzeyleri şu şekilde skorlanmıştır; Skor 1 temiz, Skor 2 krrii, Skor 3 çok krrii. Bulgular: Sonuçlar hastaların %34.8'nin çok krrii protezler kullandığını gösterdi. Ki-Kare testi, protez temizlik skorları; cinsiyet, eğitim durumu, protez temizliği hakkında bilgi alma durumu, protez kuttanım süresi, protez temizleme şekli ve sıklığının dağlımı arasında istatistiksel o/arak çok önemli brr ilişki bulunduğunu gösterdi (p<0.001). Sonuç: Bu araştrrma sonuçları tam protez hastalarının yetersiz bir protez hijyenine sahip olduğunu ve çoğunluğunun krrii ya da çok krrii protezler kullandığını ortaya koymuştur. Bu durumun önlenmesinde protez temizliği konusunda hastaların bilgllendirllmesi ve motive edilmesine daha fazla önem verilmesi faydalı olacaktır.
