Abstract (2. Language):
This study presents the Finite Element Method. Nowadays, it is a widely used tool in bio-mechanic applications. This article is particularly concerned about the research in dentistry and is aimed to give an extensive survey about it. This study, being descriptive in technical sense, first gives an overall view overall view of the Finite Element Method and its use in engineering. Then it focusses on the dental applications. The superiority of the method over other experimental techniques is also given.
