Total 568 teeth were inspected which were extracted from the patients which were applied three different Governmental Health Institutes during two days. The extraction reasons were assigned to six groups: deniai caries, periodontal disease, prosthetic, orthodontic, trauma, eruption problems reasons. Extracted teeth were inspected to find out whether treated or not before extraction. Dental caries was the most reason for tooth extraction ( % 45.7) followed by priodontal diseased { % 31.0). It was observed that % 78.5 of extracted teeth were not treated in pre-extractiort period.

Üç değişik kamu kuruluşuna iki gün içinde başvuran yetişkin hastalardan çekimi yapılan toplam 568 diş incelendi. Çekim nedenleri altı grupta İncelendi; Diş r-yriirtij Tw-irxj/intal hastahfc, «ırotetik amaç. ortodontik ricden/travma, enklüz dişler. Çekileri dişlerin daha önce tedavi edilip edilmediği de kaydedildi. Diş çekimi nedenleri arasında diş çürüğü {% 45.7) eksik karşılaşılan neden oldu. Bunu takip eden neden periodontal hastalıktı(% 31.0). Çekimi yapılan % 78.5 oranındaki dişe daha Önce tedavi yapılmamıştı, 16 ve daha yukarı yaşlarda diş çikiminde ana neden dig çürüğüdür. Bununla birlikte, 45 ve üzen yaşlarda ise periodontal hastalık ana neden haline gelmiştir.
