Abstract (2. Language): 
Tissue loss of maxillofacial region occurs as a result of congenital defects, surgicaf management due to tumors or accidents. In these cases, one major factor of an esthetic and functional prosthesis is the adequate knowledge of a dentist about the anatomy of the region. This article is about the anatomy of the defects mostly seen in the maxillofacial region after surgical management.

Çene yüz bölgesinde görülen madde kayıpları doğuştan ya da genellikle tümörler nedeni ile yapılan cerrahi müdahaleler ya da kazalar sonucunda oluşur. Dış hekiminin bu tıp vakalarda hem estetik, hem de fonksiyonel bit protez yapabilmesinde önemli bir faktör de bu bölgenin anatomisini iyi bilmesine bağlıdır. Bu makalede defektlerin anatomisi anlatılacaktır.
