Rhabdomyosarcoma is the most common of soft tissue sarcoma. The tumor most often presents as a painless, infiltrative mass that may grow rapidly. The head and neck regions of children are the most frequent locationb. Embryonol rhamdomyosarcomas are most common in the first 10 years of life, alveoler rhamdomyosarcomas occur at a median age. Treatment topically consists of local surgical exision followed by multiagent chemotherapy and radiation therapy. In this case report the maxillar denture is fitted to the patient who have been having radiation therapy and local surgical exision because of rhabdomyosarcoma in the mezial of the left eye.

Rhabdomyosarkom, yumuşak doku tümörlerinin en yaygınlarmdandır. Ağrısız ve hızlı büyüyen infiltratif bir kitle halindedir. Sıklıkla çocukların baş ve boyun bölgesinde lokalizedir. Embryonal rhabdomyosarkom erken yaşlarda görülürken, alveoler rhabdomyosarkom yetişkin dönemde görülür. Tedavi için lokal cerrahi, insizyonu takiben multiajanlı bir kemoterapi ve radyoterapi uygulandığında prognoz genelde iyidir. Bu vaka raporunda sol gözün mezialinde gelişen rhamdomyosarkom nedeniyle lokal cerrahi eksizyon ve radyoterapi geçirmiş hastaya maksiller protez yapımı sunulmuştur.
