Abstract (2. Language):
Nihilism represents the final logical concomitant of the great/old values
and ideals of European cultural history. It isn’t any philosophical discipline, but the final
consequence of the values that have been had hitherto. Even as it is so, it is a historical
event that be finally at hand as the inevitable destiny of West culture, and becouse of this
that has to be necessary lived and faced. Nihilism is the characteristic value disease of
the nineteenth century and two centuries sequent it.

Nietzsche’ye göre nihilizm, Avrupa kültür tarihinin büyük değer ve ideallerinin
en son mantıksal sonucunu temsil eder. Herhangi bir felsefi öğreti değil, şimdiye kadar
sahip olunan değerlerin nihai sonucudur. Böyle olduğu için de Batı kültür tarihinin kaçınılmaz
bir yazgısı olarak gelip çatan, bunun için de zorunlulukla yaşanması, yüzleşilmesi
gereken tarihsel bir olaydır. Nihilizm, on dokuzuncu yüzyıl ve onu takip eden iki yüzyılın
anlatılabilecek olgunluğa ulaşmış karakteristik değer hastalığıdır
