Abstract (2. Language):
Change and restructuring are among the most important concepts defining
today's organizations. Environmental uncertainity, rapid and prompt changes have
been increasingly rising the importance of these two concepts and have been forcing
the organizations to change of structurally, thereby leading to transformation
process. Trans-formation process in the organizations can be done by the visionary
leaders. These leaders, who can be labelled as transformational leaders, prepare the
conditions required for transformation by creating the groups which are comprised of
members who put the group interests over their individual interests and always renew
them-selves. This study will analyze the transformational leadership that plays an
important role in the transformational management process

Değişim ve yeniden yapılanma, bugünün örgütlerini nitelendiren en önemli
kavramlar arasında yer almaktadır. Çevresel belirsizlik, hızlı ve ani değişimler, bu
kavramların önemini her geçen gün artırmakta ve örgütleri bir dönüşüm
(transformation) ile sonuçlanabilecek yapısal değişikliklere zorlamaktadır.
Örgütlerde dönüşüm süreci, vizyon sahibi ve yenilikçi liderler tarafından yerine
getirilebilir. Dönüştürücü liderler olarak nitelendirilen bu liderler, örgütün çıkarları
kişisel çıkarlarının üzerinde tutan, kendisini sürekli yenileyen bireylerin bulunduğu
örgütler yaratarak, dönüşüm için gerekli koşullan hazırlamaktadırlar. Bu çalışmada,
dönüşüm yönetimi sürecinde önemli bir rol oynayan dönüştürücü liderlik yaklaşımı
incelenecektir.
