Abstract (2. Language):
This study aims to reveal the relationship between aesthetics and children's
literature. The study was conducted through survey technique. Submission of the message in children's
books is very important. In this regard, it was sought to express that children's literature writers should
be concerned as to "how they should write" and that they have to eliminate this concern due to
employment of aesthetics and deliver same to the readers through this way. An individual acquiring
aesthetic feelings within the framework of aesthetic education, will not encounter hardship in choosing
quality products in children's literature. The importance of acquisition of aesthetic emotions in
childhood is an undeniable reality. Being oriented to beautiful and better may become possible but with
an aesthetic point of view. Internalization of this orientation through children must be ensured by virtue
of children's literature. The existence of children's literature with aesthetic emotions will ensure the
concept of children's literature merge with what is good and beautiful. A child reading books including
aesthetic elements and thereby orienting him to beauty will acquire literary sensitivity and add value to
the society thanks to this sensitivity. The readers’ concerns to access to beauty and pursuit to finding
the best will increase the number of children's literature books thereby leading children's literature
writers to produce works within the framework of aesthetic concern. These books will allow an
individual grown up within the framework of aesthetic education, to be able to grasp the essence. As
such the individual will be able to internalize the concepts of taking pleasure from literary works and
enjoyment thereof.

Bu çalışmanın amacı; çocuk edebiyatının estetikle olan ilişkisini ortaya koymaya
çalışmaktır. Çalışma tarama modelinde desenlenmiştir. Çocuk kitaplarında verilen mesajın sunuluş şekli
oldukça önemlidir. Bu anlamda çocuk edebiyatçılarının “Nasıl yazmalıyım?” kaygısı taşımaları, bu kaygıyı
estetik ile ortadan kaldırıp okuyucuya sunabilmeleri gerekliliği vurgulanmaya çalışılmıştır. Estetik eğitim
çerçevesinde estetik duygular kazanan birey, nitelikli çocuk edebiyatı ürünleri seçmekte
zorlanmayacaktır. Estetik duyguların çocuk yaşta kazandırılmasının önemi yadsınamaz bir gerçekliktir.
Güzele ve iyiye yönlenebilme estetik bir bakış açısına sahip olmakla mümkün hâle gelebilir. Bu yöneliş,
çocuk edebiyatıyla çocuklara kazandırılmalıdır. Çocuk edebiyatının estetiki duygularla var olabilmesi,
çocuk edebiyatı kavramının güzelle iyi olanla örtüşmesini sağlayacaktır. Estetik unsurları barındıran
eserler okuyan, dolayısıyla güzele yönelen çocuk, edebi duyarlılık kazanacak, bu duyarlılıkla topluma
değer katabilecektir. Okuyucunun estetik kaygısı güzele ulaşma ve iyi bulma çabası estetiki çocuk
edebiyatı ürünlerinin sayısını arttıracak böylelikle çocuk edebiyatçıları da estetik kaygı çerçevesinde
eserler vermeye başlayacaklardır. Bu eserler, estetik eğitim çerçevesinde yetişmiş bireyde, özü
kavrayabilmeyi öğretecektir. Bu kavrayış da edebi eserden haz alma ve hoşlanma kavramlarıyla bireyde
yer edinebilecektir.
