While Atatürk's funeral was held in Ankara on 21 November 1938, a funeral ceremony was held in all the dormitories. In line with the generalization of the Internal Revenue Service, ceremonies were held in both central and also six districts in Denizli. The speeches in these ceremonies show a profound love of Atatürk and the mood of his death.

Atatürk’ün na’aşı 21 Kasım 1938’de Ankara’da geçici kabrine konulurken, bütün yurtta da cenaze törenleri yapılmıştır. Dâhiliye Vekâletinin genelgesine uygun olarak, Denizli’de de hem merkezde, hem de altı ilçede törenler yapılmıştır. Bu törenlerdeki konuşmalar derin bir Atatürk sevgisi ve onun ölümünden duyulan matemi göstermektedir.
