Abstract (2. Language):
This short article which is in the note form aims to clari-fy whether the person who translated Ibn Tufayl’s famous work entitled Hayy Ibn Yaqdhan into the Dutch language is Spinoza, the Dutch philosopher. We desire to show for readers that the first tranlator of this work which translated into the Dutch language entitled Hat Leeven van Hai Ebn Yokdhan is Spinoza, by some doc-uments. We hope we may accomplish it in this paper.

Bir not şeklindeki bu küçük makale, İbn Tufeyl’in Hayy bin Yakzân adlı meşhur eserini, Hollandacaya ilk defa çeviren kişinin Hollandalı filozof Spinoza olup olmadığı konusundaki sorunu açık-lığa kavuşturmayı amaçlamaktadır. Hollandacaya Het Leeven van Hai Ebn Yokdhan başlığıyla çevrilen bu eserin ilk müterciminin Spi-noza olduğunu birtakım belgelerle okuyucalara göstermek istiyo-ruz. Umarız bu yazıda bunu başarabiliriz.
