Abstract (2. Language): 
Poverty is seen in both developed and deveIloping countries. For this reason, the World Bank, United Nations, international organizations such as the various studies have made on this issue. Poverty is the most deeply felt the children segment. Child development is hindered due to poverty. People living in poverty during childhood, increases risk of poverty in the future. Consists of a vicious circle. The poverty is transferred to future generations. Poor families see children as a source of income and insurance. For This Purpose, they prefer a large of children. Working children are offered as a solution in the short term. However, creates big problems for the next period. In addition, the discrimination is made among the children. Have not received education for girls, the poor face more risk. Therefore, a multidimensional child poverty should be examined. In this study, Problems for Turkey has been demonstrated and a variety of solutions proposed.

Yoksulluk hem gelişmiş hem de gelişmekte olan ülkelerde görülmektedir. Bu nedenle Dünya Bankası, Birleşmiş Milletler gibi uluslararası kuruluşlar bu konuda çeşitli çalışmalar yapmışlardır. Yoksulluğu en derinden hisseden kesimi çocuklar oluşturmaktadır. Çocuk gelişimi yoksulluk nedeniyle engellenmektedir. Çocukluk döneminde yoksulluk yaşayanların, gelecekte de yoksullukla karşılaşma riski yükselmektedir. Böylece bir kısır döngü oluşmakta yoksulluk gelecek kuşaklara aktarılmaktadır. Yoksul aileler çocukları gelir kaynağı ve sigorta olarak görmektedir. Bu amaçla çok çocuğu tercih etmektedirler. Çalışan çocuklar kısa dönemde bir çözüm yolu olarak sunulmaktadır. Ancak gelecek dönem için büyük sorunlar yaratmaktadır. Ayrıca çocuklar arasında da ayrımcılık yapılmakta kız çocukları eğitim almadıkları için yoksulluk riskiyle daha fazla karşı karşıya kalmaktadırlar. Bu nedenle çocuk yoksulluğu çok boyutlu incelenmelidir. Yapılan çalışmada Türkiye açısından sorunlar ortaya konmaya çalışılmış ve çeşitli çözüm yolları önerilmiştir.
