Since the 1990s when it first entered swiftly into our lives, PC’s and the Internet have turned out to be one of
the most important elements of our social life. Enabling us quick and easy access to information in any field, this pair
has a fairly large place in our lives. In this study, information on the secondary school students’ use of computers and
Internet is obtained since we have a widespread use of computers and Internet today. In addition, its’ relation to the
education success is examined. In this context, a questionnaire was applied to 300 students that were randomly selected
in the district of Ankara, Beypazarı Girls Technical and Vocational High School, Beypazarı Anatolian Teachers High
School and Beypazarı High School, and the results of the questionnaire were analyzed using PASW Statistics 15.0 and
IBM SPSS Modeler.

1990’lı yıllardan itibaren hayatımıza hızla giren bilgisayar ve internet günümüzde toplumsal yaşantının en önemli
öğelerinden birisidir. Her alandaki bilgiye hızlı ve kolay ulaşım olanağı sağlayan bu ikilinin günlük yaşamımızdaki yeri
oldukça büyüktür. Bu çalışmada, bilgisayar ve internet kullanımının yaygınlaştığı günümüzde, ortaöğretim
öğrencilerinin, bilgisayar ve internet kullanımlarına ilişkin bilgiler elde edilmiş ve eğitim başarısı ile ilişkisi
incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda Ankara’nın Beypazarı ilçesindeki Kız Teknik ve Meslek Lisesi, Beypazarı Anadolu
Öğretmen Lisesi ve Beypazarı Lisesi’nden rastgele seçilen 300 öğrenciye anket uygulanmış ve sonuçları PASW
Statistics 15.0 ve IBM SPSS Modeler paket programları kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir.
