Abstract (2. Language):
The purpose of this study is to examine wages inequality in Turkey. Globalization process and foreign trade are most important factors on the wage inequalities. Wage inequalities starts with trade reforms which increase foreign trades. The increased openness of the Turkish Economy fuelled this situation. Turkey’s production structure has been changed since 1980. After the formation of Custom Union Turkey’s production structure has been changed so rapidly. In this period capital intensive sectors have been grown more than labor intensive sectors. As a result of this situation, wages inequalities between skilled labor and unskilled labor widened.
