Abstract (2. Language):
The aim of the study is to explain the impact of economic integration on the regional specialization and the location of industrial activities within the framework of international trade theories—namely, 'Traditional Trade Theory,' 'New Trade Theory' and 'New Economic Geography Theory.' Altho¬ugh all these three theoretical approaches predict that specialization and concentration increase as a result of economic integration, they present different explanations for the reasons of this situation.

Çalışmanın amacı ekonomik entegrasyonun bölgesel uzmanlaşma ve endüstriyel faaliyetlerin konumlanması üzerindeki etkilerini uluslararası ticaret teorilerinden 'Geleneksel Ticaret Teorisi,' 'Yeni Ticaret Teorileri' ve 'Yeni Ekonomik Coğrafya Teorisi' çerçevesinde açıklamaktır. Bu üç teorik yaklaşım da ekonomik entegrasyon sonucunda uzmanlaşmanın ve yoğunlaşmanın arttığını tahmin etmekle beraber bu durumun sebepleri konusunda farklı açıklamalarda bulunmaktadırlar.
