Abstract (2. Language):
This paper which I have translated into Turkish attempts to examine
the religious attitudes and movements in Iran in Seljuq period in
terms of Sunnism, Shiism and Sufism. The author of the article,
based on notable personalities of the period and their works, tries to
show the interior condition of the religious sects and movements
mentioned above in Seljuq period and their attitudes towards other
sects and movements. It is the importance of Seljuq period as a
formative epoche in giving a direction to some religious-politicalsocial
developments in later periods of religious history of Iran that
which renders the article more significant.

Türkçe’ye çevirisini yaptığımız bu yazı, Sünnîlik, Şiîlik ve Tasavvuf
açısından Selçuklu dönemi İran’ındaki dinî tutum ve cereyanları ele
almaya çalışmaktadır. Müellif, dönemin önemli şahısları ve
eserlerinden hareketle, adı geçen bu mezhep ve cereyanların bu
dönem zarfındaki dahilî durumunu ve bunların diğer mezhep ve
cereyanlara karşı tutumunu ortaya koymaya çalışmıştır. Selçuklu
dönemi İran dinî tarihinin sonraki dönemlerdeki bazı dinî-siyasîiçtimaî
gelişmeleri belirleyen biçimlendirici bir çağ olması yönüyle
ehemmiyet arz etmesi, makaleye daha bir önem kazandırmaktadır.
