Abstract (2. Language): 
In Islam thereis no differentiation between this world and afterlife. These two concepts are complementary one to another. In Arabic language, the world means short, temporary, and afterlife means long and eternal. Life in this world showld never be considered as worthlers. From 10 th century (A.D) and so on, this world, which is the place to earn afterlife, has been slandered in Islamic world. This is mainly due to the following factors: Influence of the Christianity, patrimonial goverment styl, fabricated narrations disparaging this world, and sufism. This world, from an objective viewpoint, is not evil itself according to Islam. What is evil then is to forget afterlife being deceived by glamorous wealth of this world.

İslam'da, bu dünya ve ahiret arasında bir ayrım yoktur. Bu iki kavram, birbirinin tamamlayıcısıdır. Kur'an'da dünya, kısa ve geçici; ahiret ise uzun ve ebedi anlamına gelir. Bu dünyadaki yaşam, asla değersiz olarak telakki edilmemiştir. Milattan sonra 10. yüzyıl ve sonrasında, İslam dünyasında ahiret için kazanma yeri mesabesinde olan dünya, kötülenmeye başlanmıştır. Bunun sebebi de şu faktörlerdir: Hıristiyanlığın etkisi, saltanat yönetimleri, bu dünyada yapılan şeylerin boş olduğu ve kaderci tasavvuf anlayışı. Objektif olarak bakılarsa, bu dünya, İslam'a göre kendisi kötü değildir. Kötü olan şey, bu dünyanın cazibeli zenginliğine aldanıp ahireti unutmaktır.
