Abstract (2. Language):
The main purpose of the study is to evaluate students' expectations from the "Practice Course in Preschool
Education Institutions" that they have taken in the second grade of the Child Development Program associate
students. Qualitative research method was used in this study. An interview form consisting of open‐ended
questions has been prepared and implemented in order to receive the views of the associate students on the
child development program. Qualitative data obtained as a result of the interview form are categorized under
the headings of the specified subjects. Then the data for each category was subjected to content analysis. The
study group of the research has created 47 associate students studying in the Child Development Program
which is "Practice Course in Preschool Education Institutions". When the results obtained from the research are
examined; Participants stated that they should provide adequate level of counseling and advisory teacher
selection, as well as the amount of material needed for them during the implementation process. However, it
has been said that there should be comprehensive information about the school to be implemented, student
support in the course observation process and recognition of more applications.

Araştırmanın temel amacı, Çocuk Gelişimi Programı önlisans öğrencilerinin ikinci sınıfta almış oldukları "Okul
Öncesi Eğitim Kurumlarında Uygulama Dersi"nden beklentilerini öğrenci görüşleri açısından değerlendirmektir.
Bu araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çocuk Gelişimi Programı önlisans öğrencilerinin uygulama
dersine ilişkin görüşlerini almak amacıyla açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan bir görüşme formu hazırlanmış ve
uygulanmıştır. Görüşme formu sonucunda elde edilen nitel veriler, belirlenen konu başlıkları altında
kategorilere ayrılmıştır. Daha sonra her bir kategori için belirlenen veriler, içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur.
Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, "Okul Öncesi Eğitim Kurumlarında Uygulama Dersi"ni alan Çocuk Gelişimi
Programında okuyan 47 önlisans öğrencisi oluşturmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen verilere
incelendiğinde; katılımcıların kendilerine yeterli düzeyde danışmanlık yapılması ve danışman öğretmen
seçiminin iyi yapılması, ayrıca uygulama sürecinde kendilerine ihtiyaç duyulduğu kadar materyalin sağlanması
gerektiğini ifade etmişlerdir. Bununla birlikte uygulama yapılacak okul ile ilgili kapsamlı bilgi verilmesini, ders
gözlem sürecinde öğrenciye destek olunması gerektiğini ve daha çok uygulama olanağının tanınması
konularında beklentiler dile getirilmiştir.
