Human factor is one of the important factors that influence organizational success. To conduct all abilities and performance of workers through organizational goals is essential for organizational success. Motivation is a very important factor in the performance of individuals and organizations. But the characteristics and effects of motivational factors became dynamic because of the changes in business and personal life. Organizational and personal characteristics effect motivation. In this paper, an empiric study, covering determination of motivation factors that is important to increase personal and organizational performance and weighting determined factors’ priorities by the help of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is done. In the study we use AHP and analyze literature to find out motivation factors from this aspect. After that, priorities are ascertained by examining how target group perceive these factors. Consequently, we find some results which are similar to literature but also some that are not similar to literature and by evaluating the results some suggestions are made for the managers. According to the study result, half of exact motivation comes from economical factors and the other half part from physo-social and organizational factors.

İnsan unsuru önemli bir performans kaynağı olarak organizasyon başarısını direkt olarak etkileyen temel faktörlerden birisidir. nsan faktörünün tüm yetenek ve güçlerinin örgütsel amaçlara yönlendirilmesi önemli bir kritik ba arı faktörüdür. Motivasyon bu ba arı faktöründe önemli bir yere sahiptir. Ancak de i en i ve ya am düzeni motivasyon faktörlerinin nitelik ve etkilerini dinamik bir hale getirmektedir. Gerek bireysel gerekse sektörel özellikler motivasyon faktörlerini etkilemektedir. Bu çalı mada bireysel ve örgütsel performansın arttırılmasında önemli bir faktör olarak görülen motivasyon faktörlerinin belirlenmesi ve belirlenen faktör önceliklerinin AHY ile a ırlıklandırılmasına yönelik ampirik bir çalı ma yapılmı tır. Bu çerçevede motivasyon faktörlerinin belirlenmesine yönelik kapsamlı bir yazın analizi yapılmı ardından bu faktörlerin hedef kitle tarafından algılanı ı ara tırılarak öncelikler belirlenmi tir. Çalı manın sonucunda yazınla hem benzer hem de farklı bulgular ele edilmi olup bu bulgular de erlendirilerek yöneticilere tekliflerde bulunulmu tur. Araştırma sonucunda tam motivasyonun yaklaşık % 50.sinin ekonomik faktörlerle sağlandığı diğer % 50.yi psiko-sosyal ve örgütsel faktörlerle sağladığı tespit edilmiştir.
