Abstract (2. Language):
In today's market conditions, human factor takes place among the significant sources to be used in the process of obtaining long‐term and sustainable growth. Human factor with its emotional and psychological aspects should be considered within the scope of individual and organizational performance. In this context, there are many studies on emotional labor and its results in the literature. However, there have been limited studies on the variables to restrain the negative consequences of emotional labor, empower its positive results and take on the mediating role in this process. This study examines the mediating role of psychological capital on the relationship between emotional labor and job satisfaction through a sample carried out among the teachers. The research findings show that all dimensions of psychological capital (selfefficacy, hope, resilience and optimism) have partial mediating roles on the relationship between the exhibition of naturally felt emotions and job satisfaction.
