It is known that the muslim lawyers wrote works called Medhal-i Fıqh for an introduction to the Fıqh so that the Islamic Law be known corectly by a lot community of people even though it is in the introduction level. It is difficultt to say that they had unity of the subject while writing such works.Abdüssettar Efendi is one of scientific authors wrote Works called Medhal-i fiqh. We will hare a contrubution to this work both with its writer and it by transferring it to the current Turkish:

Fıkıhçıların, “giriş seviyesinde olsa dahi” geniş kitlelerce İslam hukukunun temel espri ve prensiplerinin bilinmesi ve doğru anlaşılmasını sağlamak amacıyla Fıkha Giriş anlamında Medhal-i Fıkıh adıyla eserler telif ettikleri bilinmektedir. Ancak bu tarz eserleri telif ederken konu bütünlüğünün sağlandığını söylemek zordur. Abdüssettar Efendi de Medhal-i Fıkıh ismiyle eser kaleme alan ilim adamlarından biridir. Günümüz Türkçesine aktarıp değerlendireceğimiz bu çalışma ile hem müellifin hem de hacmi küçük telifin tanıtımına katkı sunmuş olacağız.
