Abstract (2. Language):
Among companions of Hz. Muhammad, The Messenger of Allah (pbuh), Hz. Ali (r.a.) has a number of distinctive features. One of his most characteristic qualities is that he had a faculty of resulting the backgrounds of the events. Before Hz. Ali, al-Madina-i al-Monavvara was the administrative center of the Islamic state. But Hz. Ali, whose caliphate lasted about five years, chose Kufa as his headquarters. Therefore, he entrusted the scientific heritage that he had inherited from the Messenger of Allah, and the products of his knowledge capability in Kûfe. Among Muctehid Imams, the imam Abu Hanifa, who is the imam of hanafi sect, was born and brought up in this city. From this perspective it can be said that Hz. Ali is one of the basis of the Hanafi sect.

Hz. Ali (r.a.), Hz. Peygamber (s.a.v.)’in ashabı arasında, kendine has bir takım özelliklerle temayüz etmiştir. Onun en mümeyyiz vasıflarından biri de, karşılaşılan problemlerin arka planlarını fark eden keskin bir zekâ ve dirayet melekesine sahip olmasıdır. Hz. Ali’den önce İslam devletinin yönetim merkezi Medine-i münevvere idi. Hz. Ali ise, yaklaşık beş sene süren halifelik döneminde kendisine merkez olarak Küfe’yi seçmiştir. Dolayısıyla gerek Hz. Peygamber’den tevarüs ettiği ilmi mirası, gerekse kendi ilmi melekesinin semeresi olan içtihatlarını bu şehre tevdi etmiştir. Müçtehit imamlar arasında Hanefi Mezhebinin imamı olan Ebu Hanife de bu şehirde doğmuş ve yetişmiştir. Bu noktadan hareketle Hz. Ali’nin, Hanefi Mezhebinin en önemli sahabe temelini teşkil ettiği söylenebilir.
