Abstract (2. Language):
The authority is social phenomenon. Weber classifies authority into three
groups as legal authority, traditional authority and charismatic authority. The
religious authority in muslem societies lasts its existence in our days as it was in the
past. İn my opinion, three religious authorities as the prophethood (risâlât), sianthood
(valâyât) at mystisizm and lidership (imâmât) at Shia. The only authority which the
God confirms is the prophethood authority. The other authorities that are called tha
imâmât and velâyât authorities have been formed through risâlât authorities.

Sosyal yapılardaki otoriteler, Weber tarafından yasal otorite, geleneksel otorite
ve karizmatik otorite olarak sınıflandırılmıştır. Müslüman toplumlarda dinsel otorite,
geçmişte olduğu gibi günümüzde de varlığını devam ettirmektedir. Otoritenin doğrulayıcısı
olarak Allah tarafından risalet otoritesi bir otorite olarak doğrulanmaktadır.
Diğer dinsel otoriteler olan imamet ve velayet otoriteleri, risalet otoritesi örnek alınarak
oluşturulmuş ve yapılandırılmıştır.
